GOD IS FOR US

MORNING DEVOTION God is for us!
By Jonathan Cassel

If God is for us, who can be against us?!

Romans 8:31

Good morning and win today!! In Jesus’ name!

When we walk in the light of the truth this is the conviction we have. And what a wonderful conviction it is. If the Almighty is for me, who is it that opposes me? If my enemy is lower than my Lord, what is it that I fear? If He who is in me is greater than he who is in the world, what am I so afraid of?

“The wicked flee when no one pursues,

but the righteous are bold as a lion.”

Proverbs 28:1

This courage is what righteousness produces. Right standing with God mixed with a holy life produces assurance of the truth. Right standing is the gift, and a holy life is our response. Between these two, the devil simply runs out of strings he can pull. And the believer stands up straight in a righteous strength!

I will not speak with you much longer, for the ruler of the world (Satan) is coming. And he has no claim on Me [no power over Me nor anything that he can use against Me]. John 14:30

Jesus was both Righteous and Holy and the result was that satan had nothing in Him. Jesus was able to go in and take captivity captive while transferring it to our account, because He was perfect. He was in complete control. He knew where He came from and where He was going. He knew why He had come to earth and He knew that His Father was for Him.

There was no second-guessing for Jesus.

“For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.”

I John 5:4 NKJV

Our faith connects us to this victory! If God is for us, and we believe it, nothing can defeat us! What a powerful and secure position the children of God have stepped into! It is time for us to be bold in spirit. It is time for us to take hold of this reality. God loves boldness. He loves it when we walk in the things His sacrifice afforded us. Just as a father loves it when his child picks up the inheritance and runs with it.

Since our God has done this great work at Calvary, what we fear is now meant to fear us. We have gone from weak and feeble to bold as lions. From vessels of sin to temples of the Living God.

Jesus’ account was emptied so ours could be filled up.

He became poor so we could become rich.

He became weak so we could become strong.

He was rejected so that we could be accepted.

He was punished so that we could be forgiven.

He wore our shame so that we could be clothed in honor.

Whatever your opinion about yourself is, it needs to now yield and align with the wonder of the cross. Your small broken opinion doesn’t stand in the high courts of heaven. The blood of Jesus does. God has now carried you!! If God has called you a mighty man of God, that is what you are. Gideon discovered this!

And if God is for you, in the high courts of heaven, who can be against you? Your victory has now reached heaven, every enemy under that position now bends their knee.

I encourage you brothers and sisters to know your God. Know your rights and claim them! Speak to anything that threatens them. Liberty is yours and it is irreversible. Stop limiting the Almighty with small thinking and start believing the imperishable word of God. Which undeniably declares that God is for us, and because of this, who can be against us?

PRAYER

Father, thank You for this boldness! We ask for diligent hearts that absorb Your word, retain it, and operate in it with strength. For our enemy has no mercy, and our passivity benefits us nothing. We ask for a spiritual spine knowing that it is You who is for us! May we be like Joshua as we go out today, from victory to victory. There is land to claim and souls to win. And the armour of the Lord to put on today.

And we do all this, under one name Father, the name above all other names, JESUS!

AMEN
.

EVENING MEDITATION

Tonight, as the last thing before you sleep. Meditate on this scripture.

“For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.”

I John 5:4 NKJV
Now ask Holy Spirit these questions, and after you ask, wait and listen to what He says. Tell Him you are being still and knowing He is God.

Questions:
Holy Spirit I am born of God, because I surrendered my life to you and was born again. So now how do I overcome better…in this world?

Listen, and maybe write down what you are hearing in your heart.

Now go to your Bible and read about David and Goliath.
1: Samuel 17:32-54
Ask the LORD to give you revelation from reading about David and Goliath.

Ask Holy Spirit how you can better overcome in your life, like David did?

Write it down and then pray about it.
